Pre-RMO exam: First step to Indian Mathematical Olympiad 2019-20
The National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) is in charge of the mathematical olympiad activity for the country. Mathematics Teachers’ Association (India) (MTA) has been recognized by NBHM as the body which will conduct PRMO and whose results will be recognized by HBCSE for further selection processes of the Indian Mathematical Olympiad. The pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad (PRMO) exam will be held on August 11, 2019, between 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM at different centres all over India. In order to be eligible for selection to the next stage of the Mathematical Olympiad Programme in India, namely, the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) it is mandatory that students qualify through this centrally administered PRMO. No other independently administered examinations will be recognized.

The PRMO exam portal will be open from June 1 to June 30 for centre registration. The centre registration closes on June 30, 2019.
The PRMO exam portal will be open from June 1 to July 7 for student registration through registered Centres. Registered centres should start registering students from June 1 to avoid last minute rush.
