7 Proven Study Tips

1. Study smaller portions at one go

Study smaller quantities of syllabus every day instead of taking on huge portions. If you hurry with all the chapters you haven’t yet covered, you will be able to memorise very little of it for exam day.

You need to break up information into small portions and then review that consistently over a long period of time. Therefore, learn a few rows every day and review each lesson before starting anything new – you don’t need to memorize the entire periodic table in one sitting.

2. Self-testing

Testing yourself on a regular basis is a great way to prepare yourself for exams – the more you practice, the better you’ll become. You can test yourself with flashcards; get tested by your friends or study partners, or by solving sample papers and previous year papers. Testing helps you encode the information better so you’ll do better on your exam.

INJSO 2018 – Detailed Analysis by Resonance

On 27^th January 2018, INJSO (Indian National Junior Science Olympiad) – 2018 exam was conducted by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) at many centers all over the country. INJSO is the second stage for selection of aspiring and talented students in the Junior Science Olympiad Program. The student can move forward to attend the Orientation Cum Selection Camp (OCSC) after clearing this stage.

Eligibility: Only Indian citizens born between January 1, 2003 and December 31, 2004, (both days inclusive) and are students studying in Class X or lower as of November 30, 2017, can apply and appear for NSEJS 2017. The student must not appear any of the senior science Olympiad. The student has to himself re-assure his eligibility. At any stage if the student is found to be not eligible for the exam, he/she may be disqualified from the program.
Student satisfying these criterion can apply and appear for INJSO 2018 after clearing NSEJS, 2017.

Syllabus: No detailed syllabus is given for INJSO. There were questions from Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

Question Paper: The medium of test was English only and it comprised of 42 question (30 objective type questions with 1 marks each and -0.25 negative marking for incorrect answer and 12 subjective type of total 60 marks) correct.

Merit Clause: Approximately 35 students are to be selected for camp.

JEE Main 2018 Application Form Correction Procedure Begins

All the registered candidates of JEE (Main) – 2018 are informed that CBSE has started JEE Main 2018 application form correction procedure. The correction facility allows candidates to correct the particulars in the application, and the last date to do it is 22 January 2018.

You all are advised to visit the website (jeemain.nic.in) to verify your details and also you can make the corrections in your filled details, in case any details are filled wrong or incomplete or has some flaw.

You simply need to submit your Application Number and Password in order to get access of the JEE Main 2018 Application Form Correction Window.

1. The last date for making corrections is 22 January 2018.
2. The additional application fee (if applicable) can be submitted through credit/debit card /E-wallet (SBI buddy/Paytm) or through e-challan generated during the online correction by cash in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank during 9 Jan 2018 to 23 Jan 2018.
3. You are not allowed to change the mode from computer based (online) examination to pen & paper based (off line) examination.
4. It is just one-time facility, and therefore you are required to be very careful when making any changes. You will not get another chance to make changes.
