Indian Institute of Technology- IIT Madras is going to conduct Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2017. we know that IIT Madras is No 1 ranked Institute in India by the NIRF, so candidates can expect a tough paper and competition platform to join IITs, NITs, IIITs.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination, which is conducted for admission in engineering colleges like IITs, NITs, IIITs and ISM Dhanbad. It is one of the most challenging engineering admission Exam.
The institute which conduct JEE Exam will set the question paper, answer keys, announcement of results and handling the JEE portal. 11.28 lakh students had appeared for the IIT JEE Main exam in 2016.
JEE consists of two parts, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE-Advanced is for admission in IITs, while the JEE-Main exam is for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs. Only the students selected in JEE Mains are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced.
Eligibility
- Applicant should have passed or pursuing XII.
- students need to have at least 75 % marks or be in top 20 percentile in Class XII.
- SC, ST students should have 65 % marks.
