EAMCET likely to go online in 2015
The 2014 edition of Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) will be held on May 17 and the results will be declared on June 9, announced APSCHE Chairman Venugopal Reddy.
According to the announcement, notification for the exam will be
issued on February 9 and the results will be declared on June 9.
However, the date mentioned may be altered depending on the schedule of
the General Election that is likely to be held sometime in April and May
next year. The exam will be administered by the JNTU Hyderabad while N.V Ramana Rao has been appointed the Convener.
Also, odds are high that starting from 2015, the test will be
conducted online on the lines of BITSAT and CAT. Prof. Reddy also hinted
that efforts to turn EAMCET into an online entrance test were on.
