National Institute of Unani Medicine notifies admissions!

The National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Bangalore has released the exam dates for Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET-2015). The exam is scheduled to be held on September 20.
Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
The candidates must have obtained the Kamile Tib o Jarahat (BUMS)  degree or any other degree  in Unani Medicine as recognised  by CCIM.
Paper pattern:
The entrance test paper shall carry 100 marks and will contain objective type, multiple choice questions covering all the subjects of BUMS programme. Each question will carry one mark. The duration of the paper will be 100 minutes. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

The candidates are required to send the hard copy of the application along with the essential documents to institute addressing Convener, PGET Cell, National Institute of Unani Medicine, Kottigepalya, Magadi Main Road, Bangalore-560 091' through a proper channel so as to reach before the closing date.

MGM College of Journalism and Mass Communication has invited applications for admission to MA/BA and Mass Communication & Journalism programmes for the academic year 2015-16. The entrance test of MA MCJ will be conducted on July 3. The candidates can check the eligibility criteria below.

Post Graduate courses: The candidates must have a graduation degree with at least 45 per cent from a recognised university or institute.
Undergraduate courses: The candidates must have completed higher secondary school with at least 45 per cent from a recognised board or institute. The candidates should have a knowledge of computer and English lanuguage.
Application fee:
BA (IJ): An application fee of Rs 1,000 needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration process.
BA (MCJ): An application fee of Rs 1,000 needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration process.
MA (MCJ): An application fee of Rs 500 needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration process.

AIIMS announces DM, M.Ch and MHA exam dates

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has announced the exam dates for DM/M.Ch/MHA. The entrance exams will be conducted on November 28.

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
For M.Ch: The candidates must possess an M.S degree in Surgery from AIIMS or any other university or institute recognised by the MCI.
For MHA: The candidates must have scored a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in all MBBS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50 per cent for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.
For DM: Candidate must possess a degree in MD/MS or DNB from a university recognised by the MCI.

How to apply:

Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test which will be conducted by AIIMS.

Paper pattern:
The written test will be conducted for the duration 90 minutes duration and will carry 80 marks.
There will be a total of 50 multiple choice questions and other 30 questions will be short answer questions on clinical, practical and lab based topics.

Important dates:
The test will be conducted on November 28.
The result will be declared on November 30.
