Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2015: Counselling and Admission details

Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA) conducted Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2015 for the admissions of candidates to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses on May 12 and May 13.  KEA declared the results on June 1 and the candidates who appeared for the entrance test can check the result on the official website which is www.kea.kar.nic.in
The courses which are offered under KCET are:
Medical/Dental (MBBS/BDS)
Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy, and Yoga (ISM & H)
Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech)
Architecture (B Arch)
BSc in Agriculture, Forestry, Sericulture, Agri-Biotech, Horticulture, Home Science
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
BTech in Food Tech, Dairy Technology, Fisheries Science, Food Science and Technology, Ag Marketing and Co-operation and Agricultural Engineering

Karnataka CET results 2015: Provisional seat matrix released

The provisional seat matrix for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2015 results (CET-K 2015)   has been published online. The candidates can access it at the official site of the examination.
The seat matrices for Engineering, Engineering (deemed university) and Architecture have been published separately. The final seat matrix is expected to be declared tomorrow.
The Karnataka CET results  were declared on June 1. Initially, the results were to be declared on May 26, however the date was postponed due to the discrepancies in the results of Karnataka Second Pre University Certificate (Karnataka II PUC 2015) examination 2015.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducted the CET-K at 343 examination centres in 53 locations across Karnataka. Around 1.5 lakh candidates appeared for the CET-K 2015 for admission into medical, dental, agriculture and engineering seats in the State.
Last year, Karnataka CET was held across 52 cities spread over Karnataka. Around 1,37,000 applicants appeared in the exam, competing for admissions to get into nearly 220 Engineering colleges in the State.
The CET-K 2015 began on May 12 with the Biology and Mathematics paper and concluded on May 13 with Physics and Chemistry. Exam for Kannada language was also conducted on the same day for an hour in the evening. Students were supposed to give the practical examination for the agriculture stream on May 16.
