CLAT 2014 to be held on May 11. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2014 conducted by Gujarat National Law University (GNLU)
will take place on May 11, 2014. CLAT scores are used for admission to
Indiaâ??s premier Law Institutes, including the National Law Institutes
in undergraduate (LL.B) and postgraduate (LL.M) law degree courses. CLAT
2014 will feature online Applications and Centralized Online Counseling
for admission.
CLAT was launched in 2008 to centralize the law schoolsâ?? admission procedures. The 14 participating Institutes/Universities conduct CLAT in rotation. CLAT 2013 was held by Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur on 12th May 2013 and results were declared by 31st May 2013. Around 31,000 students attempted CLAT 2013 for 1,600 seats and around 35,000 students are expected to appear in CLAT 2014.
