Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Notified Admission for PG Programme 2014

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada invited applications through online from 28 July 2014 for admission into 2-year Self Financed PG Programs from Indian national students for the academic year 2014-15. The candidates are required to submit online application with application fee Rs.1000/- before 18 August 2014. The last date of application with a late fee of Rs.500/- is 25 August 2014.

IIEST Notified Admission for Ph.D. Programs 2014

CAT 2014: Points to remember before registering

The much-awaited registrations for Common Admission Test (CAT) for the session 2014 have begun. In order to apply, the candidates are required to:
Step 1: Register to create a profile;
Step 2: Log in with the system generated User ID and Password;
Step 3: Submit applications which includes filling details and online payment.

But before the candidates register, they should keep the following points in mind:
  • The candidates should check the eligibility for CAT 2014;
  • The candidates should ensure that they have a valid and unique email address and mobile number;

Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2014: Notification

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit has invited online applications for the National Eligibility Test- 2014 (NET 2014) to be conducted for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship. Eligible Candidates can apply online on or before August 12, 2014.  Examination will be held on December 21.
Age Limit
For JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years (upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, Physically handicapped/Visually handicapped and female applicants).
For LS (NET): No upper age limit.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have 4 years BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS/MS/MSc or equivalent degree with at least 55 per cent marks for general and OBC (50 per cent for SC/ST candidates, physically and Visually Handicapped candidates).

M.Sc in Biotechnology admissions at Vinoba Bhave University

Vinoba Bhave University has invited applications for admissions to MSc in Biotechnology programme for the session 2014-16. Candidates can apply latest by August 8.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates willing to apply for admissions should have done their BSc (H) under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Zoology. They should have acquired 45 per cent aggregate marks in the same. Or
They should possess a degree in BSc (general) having Botany/Zoology/Chemistry or Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics (having Biology in Class 12th). Candidates should have acquired 45 per cent aggregate marks in the same.
