Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)
invited application for Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET).
Eligible candidates have to send completely filled application in the
prescribed format on or before 04 March 2014.

For JRF (NET): 28 Years as on 01 January 2014
For LS (NET): No Upper Age Limit
Educational Qualification
BS-4 years program/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS/ Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc. or Equivalent degree/BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in integrated MS-Ph.D program with at least 55% marks for General & OBC (50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually handicapped candidates)
Candidates with bachelor’s degree, whether Science, engineering or any other discipline, will be eligible for fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for Ph.D/integrated Ph.D. program within the validity period of two years.
For Lectureship of NET: Ph.D degree holder who have qualified Master’s Degree before 19 September 1991, with minimum 50% Marks
Examination Fee
For General: Rs 400/-
For Other Backward Classes (OBC): Rs. 200/-
For SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH)/ Visually Handicapped (VH): Rs. 100/-
How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online through the official website of CSIR, http://csirhrdg.res.in.
Printout/ Hardcopy of the completely filled online application alongwith the application requisite examination fee must be reach to the Sr. Controller of Examination, Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit, CSIP Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New- Delhi, Pin- 110012 on or before the last date.
The last date of receipt of the complete application is 08 March 2014. However, the last date for receipt of application form from the candidates residing in the far flung areas is 14 March 2014.
