AIPMT 2015 Re-Test

The AIPMT 2015 (All India Pre Medical/ Pre- Dental Entrance Test) was held on May 3, this year. The test, however,  was cancelled by the Supreme Court due to the leak of question paper and circulation of the answer keys through electronic devices across 10 states in the country.
The exam which is held for admissions to medical and dental courses was then re-scheduled and finally took place on July 25. Over 6.23 lakh students registered for this examination, out of which only 4,22,859 candidates downloaded the admit card. The examination was conducted at 1,065 centres in 50 cities throughout the country and abroad.
The exam conducted by CBSE, consists of 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
Paper analysis of AIPMT 2015 Re-test
Physics:
The paper was a bit tough as compared to last year. 44.4 per cent questions were from class 12 syllabus and 55.6 per cent were from class 11 syllabus. The questions were mainly based on formulas which involved long and complicated calculations.
Chemistry:
The level of difficulty of the paper was average this time. Questions from outside the NCERT books were asked too.
Biology:
The paper was quite easy as it was heavily drawn from the NCERT books. Required reading of NCERT, that too bit by bit.
Overall, the paper was average.

AIPMT 2015: Rohtak not an exam centre anymore

Keeping in mind the All-India Pre-Dental and Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) paper leak incident in Rohtak, the CBSE has now decided to not keep it as an examination centre on July 25.
As many as 700 students received answer keys through mobile phones during the exam held on May 3, out which four members of the gang from the city were nabbed by a police team under the supervision of Rohtak range inspector Shrikant Jadhav. The police have not been informed about the reasons and is neither aware of the student's centre for the re-examination, this time. The candidates who will appear for the AIPMT will be receiving details such as centre of examination and roll numbers through E-mail and SMS.
The candidates, on the day of the exam, will have to undergo strict frisking measures before the exam commences. The invigilators have been instructed to check the ears of all the candidates with the help of torchlight. This practice will ensure that no communication device such as a Bluetooth is carried inside any examination hall.

AIPMT 2015: CBSE to take strict measures on the day of exam


Strict measures to be undertaken to avoid cheating at AIPMT exam day.

The official notice for the All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT) re-examination mentioning the July 25 as the date, was announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education.  The exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.
The candidates who will appear for the AIPMT will be receiving details such as centre of examination and roll numbers through E-mail and SMS service. The admit cards they'll receive will also have a detailed lists of the dos and donts. The new admit cards that will be issued will also have the photograph of the candidate in a different place than the previous one, to make sure that there is no misuse of the old admit cards.
The candidates, on the day of the exam, will have to undergo strict frisking measures before the exam commences. The invigilators have been instructed to check the ears of all the candidates with the help of torchlight. This practise will ensure that no communication device such as a Bluetooth is carried inside any examination hall. The test-takers will be directed to wear clothes and shoes of the similar colour. The candidates will also not be allowed to wear jackets.

AIPMT 2015: Re-Examination on July 25

The re- examination of All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT) 2015 will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on July 25. The new applications will not be received for this examination. The aspirants who have given the examination earlier will appear for the re-exam.
The new admit cards will be issued by the CBSE to all the candidates. The candidates must carry the admit cards in the examination premises/hall, failing for which they will not be allowed in the examination. The entrance test will be conducted on July 25. The candidates are required to visit the official website for detailed information for which the link is available here: www.aipmt.nic.in.
The declaration of results of the AIPMT was scheduled to be on June 5 but was ruined by a paper-leak where as many as 700 students received answer keys through mobile phones during the exam held on May 3.
AIPMT is conducted for taking admission to Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programs under 15% merit of all India quota seats in government medical/dental colleges all over India except the States of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir for the academic session 2015-16.

SC Asks CBSE to re-conduct AIPMT

The Supreme Court has asked Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to re-conduct the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) for the year 2015-16, by 17 August 2015. Further it has also fixed the time schedule for counseling for avoiding unduly delay in the academic session.
The apex court vacation bench headed by Justice R.K. Agrawal and AM Sapre has given the time extension on CBSE’s plea seeking three months time for the re-conduct of the examination. It had cancelled the examination held on 03 May 2015, following question paper leak and circulation of the answer keys through electronic devices across 10 states in the country.
AIPMT is the gateway for admission to 15% of seats in all central government and state government medical colleges.

CBSE releases notification for AIPMT 2015

The All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination - 2015 is set to be conducted, except in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, as per the latest information released by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
The entrance test for the academic session 2015-16 for the 15 per cent merit positions in the Medical/Dental colleges of India is due on May 3, 2015 in selected cities across the country and abroad.
The decision came as per the concurrence of the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the government of India. The national level medical exam by CBSE is conducted to offer admission to approximately 2200 MBBS and 300 BDS seats at 130 government medical and 30 dental colleges of India, respectively.

ELIGIBILITY
  • The applicant must be 17 years old as on or before December 31, 2015
