IBPS RRB Officer Scale I 2015: All you should know

The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) will conduct Pre-Exam Training for Officer Scale-1 in Rural Banks, August 24 onward. The candidates must download their call letters from the official website. The candidates shall be tested online on their Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Language. The paper will consist of 200 questions, comprising a total of 200 marks.
Here are a few points to keep in mind:
1) The candidates should carefully note the roll number, date, time, session and venue for the examination given in the call letter to avoid any confusion at the last minute.
2) The candidates should remember to bring the call letter along with the photo identity proof (Passport/PAN Card/Driving License/ Voter's Card/Bank Passbook) both, in original and a photocopy form.
3) The assessment will be done online hence, the candidates should carefully read instructions regarding the method of indicating answers.

UPSC Armed Police Forces Exam: 3 days to go

The Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2015 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on July 12, which is three days from now! The E-Admit Cards have been uploaded for the admitted candidates on the official website www.upsc.gov.in.
The candidates appearing for the examination could download their admit cards by following the given guidelines:
  • Visit the official website
  • Click on the section that says 'Examinations'
  • Go to the section 'E-Admit Card'
  • Enter the required details
The candidates are advised to take a printout of the card in order to produce it at the allotted venue of the examination.
The candidates are also supposed to carry identical photographs (one photograph for each session) along with proof of Identity such as Identity Card/Voter Identity Card/Passport/Driving License, in case the photograph is missing from the admit card. It is expected out of the candidates to take a printout of the admit card much before the scheduled exam date, since the server might be down or overloaded.
The Union Public Service Commission will conduct this written examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The applicants will be tested on the basis of a General Ability and Intelligence in Part 1, which will be worth 250 marks and a General Studies and Comprehension based test, worth of 150 marks.
