IBPS RRB Officer Scale I 2015: All you should know

The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) will conduct Pre-Exam Training for Officer Scale-1 in Rural Banks, August 24 onward. The candidates must download their call letters from the official website. The candidates shall be tested online on their Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Language. The paper will consist of 200 questions, comprising a total of 200 marks.
Here are a few points to keep in mind:
1) The candidates should carefully note the roll number, date, time, session and venue for the examination given in the call letter to avoid any confusion at the last minute.
2) The candidates should remember to bring the call letter along with the photo identity proof (Passport/PAN Card/Driving License/ Voter's Card/Bank Passbook) both, in original and a photocopy form.
3) The assessment will be done online hence, the candidates should carefully read instructions regarding the method of indicating answers.

Tips to Crack KVPY Exam


  • Check the previous year KVPY exam question papers and check where you stand and it will help you to analyze your strengths and weaknesses based on your existing preparations for the exam.
  • Refer and choose NCERT study material thoroughly, cracking KVPY becomes easier.
  • Go for Group study. Studying with friends will help to clear the doubts and helps in practice and study further
  • You need to make a habit of revising topics which you have done earlier so that you don’t forget what you have already learnt. The daily practice and revision are key factors to get speed and accuracy in solving questions.
  • There is no set syllabus for KVPY written exam. So integrate the syllabus of regular class X/XI/XII studies with KVPY preparations.

SBI PO Recruitment: Interview and GD tips and tricks, call letter to be out on September 15

State Bank of India (SBI), one of the renowned largest banks of the nation had invited applications for filling up the post of 1, 897 Probationary Officers (PO). The result for Phase I of the exam has been announced. Phase II, consisting of an interview and group discussion (GD) will commence from October 8. The call letter for the interview-cum-GD and bio-data form will be available on the official website from September 15 onwards.
Tips and Tricks to get through a GD in an impressive way:
  • Be as natural as possible. Do not try to be someone you are not. Be yourself. In an attempt to be someone else, your opinions will not be portrayed;
  • Sit with a straight and confident posture;
  • Be assertive yet humble. You need to stick to your values and beliefs, but learn to respect the values and opinions of others too;
  • Grab the opportunity to speak first, i.e. to start the group discussion with your opinion. It generally leaves a good impression on the evaluator, but take the move only if you have complete knowledge of the subject;
  • Do not repeat a point, or be lengthy or irrelevant. Also intervene, if someone else is going on an irrelevant track;
