ICSI exam June 2015: Check out the result and the merit list

The ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) conducted the CS examination for Executive and Professional Program in June this year. The results of both the examinations have been declared today on August 25.
The exam was computer based. ICSI has also declared All India Provisional Merit list for Professional Programme on its website.
Steps to check the results
Log on to www.icsi.edu
Click on ICSI Company Secretary (CS) Professional and Executive Results 2015
Select the program, enter the your roll number and click on  submit.
ICSI Company Secretary Professional and Executive Results 2015 will be displayed on the screen.
Take a print out of the result and save it for future reference.
Avani Mishra secured the first rank in ICSI's Professional Programme (New Syllabus) examination, followed by Surnav Kalra and Komal Tushar Shah at the second and third rank.

ICSI Company Secretary Foundation exam (June 2015): Results declared

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has declared the results for the Foundation exam. The examination was conducted in June, the candidates who appeared for the test can now check their results at the official website of ICSI.
The candidates can check their results by following the steps mentioned below:

• Go to www.icsi.edu
• Click on any of the two links provided for checking the result
• Enter your roll number
• Click on Submit

The results will be displayed on the screen.
The candidates can also check their results through ICSI's SMS service. In order to do so, they should type 'ICSIFOUNRoll number' and send it to 56263.
The candidates can also access the all India provisional merit list on the official site. The exam was topped by Shruti Manish Desai, the second rank is shared by Harikiran Kaur Chawla and Kartiki Mahesh Tulaskar and the third rank was jointly bagged by Ravi Rajendra Jalan and Ambarish Deepak Shintre.
Approximately 35,000 candidates took the Foundation level CS exam last month.

ICSI to introduce Open Book Examination for professional courses

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi is all ready to add a new examination, namely Open Book Examination, of elective subjects (Paper-9) in module III of professional programme from June 2014.

Professional programme offers five elective subjects:

•     Banking Law and Practice
•     Capital Commodity and Money Market
•     Insurance Law and Practice
•     Intellectual Property Rights - Law and Practice
•     International Business - Laws and Practices

Out of all these five subjects, the student needs to select any one subject, according to the interest, ability and career goal.

ICSI introduces Computer Based Examination for Foundation Programme

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi, is set to introduce Computer Based (online) Examination for Foundation Programme from the academic year 2014-15.

 The Institute has decided to discontinue OMR Based Examination and instead introduce Computer Based Examination (CBE) for its Foundation Programme students from June 2014 onwards.

 However, examinees would continue to be assessed through Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
