The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has declared the results for the Foundation exam. The examination was conducted in June, the candidates who appeared for the test can now check their results at the official website of ICSI.
The candidates can check their results by following the steps mentioned below:
- Go to www.icsi.edu
- Click on any of the two links provided for checking the result
- Enter your roll number
- Click on Submit
The candidates can also check their results through ICSI's SMS service. In order to do so, they should type 'ICSIFOUN
The candidates can also access the all India provisional merit list on the official site. The exam was topped by Shruti Manish Desai, the second rank is shared by Harikiran Kaur Chawla and Kartiki Mahesh Tulaskar and the third rank was jointly bagged by Ravi Rajendra Jalan and Ambarish Deepak Shintre.
Approximately 35,000 candidates took the Foundation level CS exam last month.
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India was established through the Company Secretaries Act, 1980. It is the only recognised national body which develops and regulates the profession of Company secretaries in India. Currently there are 32,803 members registered with ICSI, and 6,670 members hold the certificate to practice as a CS. Almost 4 lakh students are enrolled with ICSI, and are preparing for the CS examinations.
