IIT JAM 2016: Registrations ends today


IIT JAM 2016: Last day to register

The Joint Admission Test will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras for admissions to Master of Science (M.Sc) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) for the academic session 2016. The exam is slated to be held on February 7. The registration procedure will conclude today i.e. October 14. The results for the same will release on March 23.
The candidates who wish to apply, must have a graduation degree with minimum 55 per cent (50 percent for SC/ST/OBC category candidates) from a recognised university or institute.
The online test will be held at various centres across the country. The candidates who wish to apply for JAM 2016 examination must first register on the JOAPS website, by providing his/her name, a valid e-mail address, mobile number and a password. The candidates must take a print out for future reference.

Download of admit card: December 31
JAM 2016 exam: February 7, 2016
Declaration of results: March 23, 2016
Submission of application form for admission (JAM 2016): April 15 - April 17, 2016
Last date for receipt of request for change of category in proper format/rectification of defective documents at IIT Madras: May 10, 2016
Declaration of first admission list: June 3, 2016
Declaration of second admission list: June 20, 2016
Declaration of third and final admission list: July 4, 2016

The examination schedule for the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test (IIT JAM) was released recently. The exam is conducted for admissions to M.Sc and Ph.D degrees, and is being organised by Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), this time. It will be conducted on February 7, 2016.
The candidates will be able apply online starting September 2, they can do so at www.jam.iitm.ac.in. No hard copies of the applications will be accepted.
The main objective of JAM is to consolidate Science as a career option for students across the country. It is expected that the research infrastructure, the inter-disciplinary interaction and the vibrant academic environment of IISc Bangalore and IITs will motivate these students to pursue Research and Development careers in the frontier areas of basic sciences as well as inter-disciplinary areas of science and technology.

The examination schedule for the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test (IIT JAM) has been announced. The exam is conducted for admissions to M.Sc and Ph.D degrees, and is being organised by Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), this time. It will be held on February 7, 2016.
The examination schedule for the upcoming exam is mentioned below:
  • September 2: Commencement of online registration and application process on the official website
  • October 10: Last date for payment of application fee through e-challan
  • October 14: Last date for submission of application and uploading of documents
  • February 7: Date of JAM
  • March 23: Declaration of results
  • April 15 to 24: Submission of application form for admission on the website
  • April 29: Last date for receipt of request for change of category along with valid documents in proper format at IIT Madras
  • June 15: Declaration of first admission list
  • June 29: Declaration of second admission list
  • July 11: Declaration of third admission list and conclusion of admission process

JAM 2015: List of IITs to accept scores

The registrations and application process for Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) for the session 2015 has begun and will continue till September 30, 2014.
Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for candidates seeking admissions to Integrated PhD degree programmes at IISc Bangalore and MSc (two years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-PhD dual degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-M.S.(Research)/ PhD dual degree and other post-Bachelor's degree programmes at IITs.
JAM 2015 entrance exam will be held on February 08, 2015. Candidates who are applying for JAM 2015 have to know the list of IITs which accept its scores for admission to their programmes.

Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) 2015: Registrations begin

Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for candidates seeking admissions to Integrated PhD degree programmes at IISc Bangalore and MSc (two years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-PhD dual degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-M.S.(Research)/ PhD dual degree and other post-Bachelor's degree programmes at IITs.
The application process for JAM is a four step process:
Step 1: Registration at JAPS;
Step 2: Filling in the application forms;
Step 3: Payment of application fee
Online Payment Mode
Challan Payment Mode
Step 4: Downloading the application form
Only online applications will be accepted.
