The Joint Admission Test will be conducted by the Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT) Madras for admissions to Master of Science (M.Sc) and
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) for the academic session 2016. The exam is
slated to be held on February 7. The registration procedure will
conclude today i.e. October 14. The results for the same will release on
March 23.
The candidates who wish to apply, must have a graduation degree with minimum 55 per cent (50 percent for SC/ST/OBC category candidates) from a recognised university or institute.
The online test will be held at various centres across the country. The candidates who wish to apply for JAM 2016 examination must first register on the JOAPS website, by providing his/her name, a valid e-mail address, mobile number and a password. The candidates must take a print out for future reference.
