JEE Main 2015: Revised ranks to publish on July 8

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2015 ranks on the official website of Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), the link for which is: http://jeemain.nic.in/webinfo/welcome.aspx. The CBSE has released the notification that the revised list of All India JEE (main) ranks will be declared on July 8.
According to a report in Times of India, the CBSE officials said that, "28 education boards defaulted in sending the data on time."
The aspirants were waiting for the counseling procedure but due to the hindrance, it was not conducted.
JEE Main was conducted by CBSE on April 4, April 10 and April 11. This year, over 13 lakh students appeared for JEE Main exam out of which three lakh students chose online based exam.The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is conducting the counseling procedure for admission to IITs and ISM through JEE Advanced 2015 and to NITs, IIITs, Other GFTIs through JEE Main 2015. The official website of JoSAA 2015 was launched on June 23.The information regarding JEE Main and other important exams can be obtained on the official website of JoSAA.
In total, there are a 87 participating institutes, 31 are National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 18 are Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), 17 are Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs),18 are Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs) and Indian School of Mines (ISM).

JEE Advanced 2015: Do not miss the important dates

The official website of JEE Advanced has published the calendar of important dates. The candidates can check the calendar on the official website the link for which is: http://jeeadv.iitb.ac.in/calendar-node-field-start-date
Here is the list of the important dates you must check:
Online filling of choices in joSAA portal: July 1
Mock seat allocation: July 4
Online filling-in of: July 5
Seat allocation (1st round): July 7
Acceptance of seats (1st round) at reporting centre: July 8 to July 12
Display of seat filled/available (after 1st round): July 13
Seat allocation (2nd round): July 13
Acceptance of seat (2nd round) at reporting centre: July 14 to July 17
Display of seat filled/available (after 2nd round): July 18
Seat allocation (3rd round): July 18
Acceptance of seat (3rd round) at reporting centre: July 19 to July 21
Academic sessions begin (from this date onwards, contact concerned institute for exact dates): July 22
Acceptance of seats for IIT Preparatory courses at reporting centre: July 23 to July 26
Beginning of preparatory courses: July 27

JEE Advanced: Mock seat allocation to begin on July 4

The process of mock seat allocation for JEE Advanced 2015 is set to begin tomorrow. The process will take place online at the official site, www.jeeadv.iitb.ac.in.
The mock seat allocation is scheduled to be conducted from 8 am to 5 pm on July 4.
The joint seat allocation for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) began on July 1, after being postponed for a week. This is the first time that the seat allocation is being conducted jointly for IITs and NITs.
On the first day, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) online portal saw 58,000 students completing the registration process, they filled in almost 21 lakh choices for the same. Out of these, about 13 lakh students registered for admission to IITs, filling in 5.6 lakh choices.
