UPSC IES/ISS Final Result 2015: Check the result at upsc.gov.in


The  final results of the Indian Economic Service(IES)/India Statistical Service (ISS) written examination has been declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).The commission has released the final list of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the posts of IES and ISS.The candidates can check the final result on the official website, the link for which is http://www.upsc.gov.in/exams/final-results/ies/2015/Final_Result_IES_ISS_2015_English.pdf
A total of 14 and 50  candidates have been selected for the IES and ISS, respectively. This year, Arushi Kaushik has topped the Indian Economic Services Examination followed by Arshee Khosla who secured second rank and Ruby Rani who hitched the third position, whereas Dona Francis has bagged the first rank  in the Indian Statistical Services Examination.

The preliminary exams for Civil Services is conducted every year by the  Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This year, almost 4.65 lakh candidates appeared for the same at 2,186 venues in 71 centres.  The exam consisting of two papers was held in two parts. Part I of the paper began at 9:30 am whereas, Part II commenced at 2:30 pm.

UPSC Combined Defence Services 2016: Exam schedule


UPSC CDS Exam schedule

The Union Public Service Commission has released the examination schedule for the Combined Defence Services examination 2016. The exam has been scheduled to be conducted on February 14, 2016. The interested and eligible candidates can apply according to the prescribed format.

Eligibility criteria:

For Indian Military Academy and Officer'sTraining Academy: The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Their qualifying degree should be from a recognised university or institute.

For Naval Academy:
The candidates should hold a degree in any of these disciplines- B.Sc with Physics and Mathematics as subjects or a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.). Their qualifying degree should be from a recognised university or institute.
For Air Force Academy: The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and should have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. If they did not have Physics and Mathematics in Class 12, but have an engineering degree, they are eligible to apply.
The candidates who are currently in their final year are also eligible to apply, on the condition that they will produce proof of passing the degree level examination as per the schedule.

UPSC NDA 2015: Paper Pattern

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up 320 posts. The UPSC will conduct NDA and NA (II) examination on September 27.
Paper pattern:The paper will consist of objective type questions which will be based on General Ability Test and Mathematics. The exam will carry a weightage of 900 marks. The duration of the exam is two and a half hours.

The candidates must have passed higher secondary school from a recognised board or institute.
NDA (Air Force and Navy) and Class 12 Cadet Entry Scheme at the INA: The candidates must have passed higher secondary school with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognised board or institute.
Age limit: The candidates applying for these exams should be unmarried males who are born between July 2, 1996 to July 1, 1999.
Important dates:The e-Admit cards would be made available from the third week before the commencement of exam.
Date of exam: September 27.
Declaration of Result: December
SSB interview: January, 2016.
INAC will begin from July 2, 2016

UPSC CBRT 2015: Result declared

The written results of Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) for the posts of Assistant Public Prosecutor in CBI and Assistant Public Prosecutor in the Directorate of Prosecution have been declared by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).  The exam was conducted on June 27 at eight centres across India.
In order to check the result, the candidates must check the steps jotted down below:
  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the link 'Written Result - CBRT for 65 posts of Assistant Public Prosecutor in the Directorate of Prosecution'
Submit the same. The roll number wise list will be displayed on the screen. The candidates who have qualified in the written exam will be called for the interview. The candidates must produce the original documents at the time of interview. The exact date of the interview will be intimated to the candidates through email.
The candidates are required to send in their duly filled application form along with the essential documents to the 'Under Secretary (SPC - II), Room number 16- A (Main Building), Dholphur House, UPSC, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069' through proper channel, so as to reach before the closing date.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results for Civil Service Examination. The students who appeared for Civil Service Examination 2014 can check the results at the official website, the link for which is http://www.upsc.gov.in/. The marks will be available on the official website within 15 days.
How to check the result?
To fetch the results, the candidates must follow the steps listed below:
  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the link, 'Final result of the Civil Services Examination, 2014'
Submit the same. The result will be displayed on the screen. The candidates are required to take out a print for future use.

Union Public Service Commission invited application for Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2014. The examination is conducted to screen candidates who seek admission into the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).
