IIT Jodhpur invites applications for its M.Tech programme

IIT Jodhpur invites applications for its Master in Technology M.Tech) programme for the academic year 2014. The aim of the M.Tech programme is to develop graduates having good knowledge and research training in emerging areas of technology and science. IIT Jodhpur has organised the master's programme in domains of three research centers of the Institute, namely:
  •  M.Tech in Center for Energy 
  • M.Tech in Center for Information and Communication Technologies
  •  M.Tech in Center for Systems Science

 Eligibility

 For M.Tech in Center for Energy: 
 The candidate should have B.Tech, BE or B.Sc (Engineering) with at least 60% marks or at least 6.5/10 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). With the valid GATE score.

For M.Tech in Center for Systems Science: 
The candidate should be M.Sc in scinces with at least 70% marks or at least 7/10 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). With valid GATE score.

 For M.Tech in Center for Information and Communication Technologies: 
The candidate should have B.Tech degree from any of the IITs with CPI or CGPA 8/10 or above.

How to apply: 
Applicants are requested to send online generated summary sheet and final submitted application duly signed along with a copy of GATE, NET, CSIR, UGC or NBHM score card (copy of GATE-ADMIT Card or equivalent, if the result is awaited) and the processing fee of Rs.300 for General and OBC applicants and Rs.150 for SC, ST, and PD applicants in the form of a demand draft drawn from a nationalized bank in favour of "Director, IIT Jodhpur" payable at Jodhpur.

Reservation policy: 
The norms of reservation for different categories shall be adopted as laid down by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

  •  Last date of filling online application form: 28 March, 2014
  •  Announcement of short listed candidates: 31 March, 2014
  •  Date of written test and interview: 12-13 April, 2014
