How to apply for Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) 2014?

Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, invites applications for Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) for the year 2014.

 

 RPET 2014 is the qualifying entrance examination which is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering (B.Tech / B.E) courses in various government aided and private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan.

Eligibility criterion: 

•  Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biotechnology or Biology as subjects from a Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination with 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC). 
•   Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01st October 1989 are eligible. However, for SC/ST candidates upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years. 

 

RPET 2014 scheme:

•  RPET 2014 contains 120 objective type questions of time duration three hours.
• This paper contains 40 objective type questions in each subjects, i.e Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There will no negative marking for wrong answer. The questions in the text booklet will be both in Hindi as well as in English.

How to apply: 

•  Cost of the application from is Rs 800/-.
•  Candidates have to contact e-Mitra / CSC kiosk center authorised by the Government of Rajasthan and deposit application fee.
•  The kiosk will generate a 16 digit number for the candidate using e-Mitra portal and issue a receipt containing this token number. 
• Candidates are advised to keep this token number for further use. In order to activate the online application form for filling the form, candidate have to enter his/her token number in the appropriate column of the application form. 
•  Candidates have to read the instructions before filling the application form. 
• Candidates have to take the printout of the application form. 
• Candidates have to attach all the required documents and send it to the below address.
