Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have a post-graduate degree in the related field of research with not less than 55 per cent marks.
The candidate must have completed and/or being involved as a research associate/ fellow, in a major research project (sponsored by UGC or any other approved institution) of specified duration of not less than two years.

Based on the academic performance of the candidate at the postgraduate level, she or he can be admitted to a PhD programme which includes a pre-doctoral course work for a minimum period of one semester.
