The Indian Institute Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is set to conduct the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2016. The Common Entrance Examination for Design is being conducted for admissions to the Master of Design (M.Des) course offered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur, and also for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme in Design offered by IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur for the academic session 2016.
The paper pattern for the competitive exam is mentioned below:
- The exam will be divided into two parts, i.e. Part A and Part B.
- Part A: This will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) and comprises of three parts, namely Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Numerical Ability Test (NAT) and Multiple Selection Questions (MSQ). The candidates will get one hour to attempt this section
- Part B: This section will test the candidates on their designing skills.
