IIT Bombay CEED 2016: Paper pattern


IIT Bombay CEED 2016

The Indian Institute Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is set to conduct the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2016. The Common Entrance Examination for Design is being conducted for admissions to the Master of Design (M.Des) course offered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur, and also for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme in Design offered by IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur for the academic session 2016.
The paper pattern for the competitive exam is mentioned below:
  • The exam will be divided into two parts, i.e. Part A and Part B.
  • Part A: This will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) and comprises of three parts, namely Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Numerical Ability Test (NAT) and Multiple Selection Questions (MSQ). The candidates will get one hour to attempt this section
  • Part B: This section will test the candidates on their designing skills.

AIIMS Ph.D admissions: Important information

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has notified the dates for the Ph.D admissions 2015, the entrance exam for which is set to be conducted in January 2016. The institute has announced that it will conduct the exam for the Doctor of Philosophy courses on January 16. The degree is offered in various specialisations.
Paper pattern for the examination
  • The examination will be for a duration of 90 minutes (1.5 hours) and will carry a total of 80 marks
  • The paper will comprise of 80 questions in total, out of these 50 will be theory based Multiple Choice Questions  (MCQs) and the remaining 30 questions will be clinical, practical and lab based short answer and multiple choice questions

MAT September 2015: Admit cards to be released tomorrow

The candidates who had applied for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015 will be able to download their admit cards tomorrow onward. The exam is set to be conducted in next month. The pen and paper based test will be held on September 6 and the online based examination will be held on September 12.

Recently, the registration date for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015 was extended again. Initially the date had been extended up till August 25, but the official site now mentions that it has been further extended up till September 1. The aspirants can apply till next week only for the Computer Based Test (CBT), through the online mode. The candidates can submit their filled-in online registration forms at the official website of the All India Management Association (AIMA).

MAT September 2015: Candidates can now check their application status

The candidates who had applied for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015 can now check their application status. The authorities have updated the application status on the official website, www.aima.in. The aspirants can check the same by following the steps mentioned below:
  • Go to the official site, www.aima.in
  • Click on 'Testing'
  • Click on 'MAT-Find out more'
  • Click on 'Application status for MAT SEPT 2015'
  • Enter your six-digit form number
  • Click on 'Submit'
The application status will be displayed on the screen.

The registration date for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015 has been extended for the second time. Initially the date had been extended up till August 25, but the official site now mentions that it has been further extended up till September 1. The aspirants can apply till the next week only for the Computer Based Test (CBT), through the online mode.
The candidates can submit their filled-in online registration forms at the official website of the All India Management Association (AIMA). The exam is set to be conducted next month. The pen and paper based test will be held on September 6 and the online based examination will be held on September 12.
Eligibility criteria:  The candidates should be graduates in any discipline. They should have obtained the degree from a recognised university or institution. The students who are currently in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply .
Application procedure: The interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website of AIMA, www.aima.in.
Application fee: The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,200. The payment can be made through credit or debit card, net banking, demand draft or in cash at any nodal centre of AIMA.
The Management Aptitude Test is conducted for admissions into business schools for MBA and other management courses. It was introduced in 1988 as a standardised test and was approved as a national level test by the HRD Ministry in 2003.

The candidates can submit their filled-in online registration forms at the official website of the All India Management Association (AIMA). The exam is set to be conducted in next month. The pen and paper based test will be held on September 6 and the online based examination will be held on September 12.
The Management Aptitude Test is conducted for admissions into business schools for MBA and other management courses. It was introduced in 1988 as a standardised test and was approved as a national level test by the HRD Ministry in 2003.

The paper pattern for the exam is detailed below:
  • The written exam will be for a duration of two hours
  • The paper will have two parts, A and B
  • Part A will comprise of twenty objective-type questions on basic Mathematics, Physics and Electronics
  • Part B will also carry twenty objective-type questions from advanced Physics, Mathematics and Electronics/Engineering
  • The candidates have to choose one option from the given four options for each question
  • The exam will carry negative marking. Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer
