CTET admit cards out: Forgot registration number?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the admit cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2015 at the website.The candidates who have forgotten their registration number can directly download their admit card from the official website, the link for which is ctet.nic.in.
To know how to download, the candidates must follow the points mentioned below:
  • Visit the official website
  • Click on the tab, 'Forgot Registration No'
  • The candidates are required to enter the essential details i.e. name, mother's name, father's anme, date of birth, category, paper applied, security pin
On submitting the same, the admit card will be displayed on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2015: Download admit cards from September 4

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced that it will release the admit cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test on September 4. The candidates who had applied to appear for the examination will be able to download their admit cards from the official website, www.ctet.nic.in.
The candidates will be able to download their admit cards by following the steps mentioned below"
  • Go to www.ctet.nic.in
  • Click on the tab 'Admit card'
  • Click on the link provided for downloading admit cards
  • Enter the required details, such as name, roll number, etc.
  • Submit the details
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screens
The candidates are required to download their admit card and take a printout of the same and appear for the examination at the given centre.

MAT September 2015: Admit cards to be released tomorrow

The candidates who had applied for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015 will be able to download their admit cards tomorrow onward. The exam is set to be conducted in next month. The pen and paper based test will be held on September 6 and the online based examination will be held on September 12.
The official link for downloading the admit cards is- http://apps.aima.in/matadmitcard.aspx.
Recently, the registration date for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015 was extended again. Initially the date had been extended up till August 25, but the official site now mentions that it has been further extended up till September 1. The aspirants can apply till next week only for the Computer Based Test (CBT), through the online mode. The candidates can submit their filled-in online registration forms at the official website of the All India Management Association (AIMA).

AIPMT 2015: Admit cards available for download till August 26

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made the admit cards for AIPMT 2015 available once again. The admit cards for the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test re-examination were made available on August 19. The candidates will be able to access their admit cards up till 5 pm on August 26.
CBSE has re-opened the facility to access admit cards after it received several requests from candidates, saying that they have misplaced/lost their admit cards, which are essential for taking part in the counselling sessions and admission process.
Even though the candidates had received prior instructions, telling them to retain the admit card till the end of the admission process, the Board has received multiple requests, asking it to re-open the facility to download admit cards again.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2015: Admit card details

Symbiosis International University recently announced the schedule for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2015. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 20. The competitive exam is conducted for admissions to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at various Symbiosis International University institutes. The entrance exam is being conducted for the academic session of 2015.
The details regarding the admit cards for the exam are mentioned below:
  • The admit cards will be released online on December 5
  • The candidates will have the option to download and print their admit cards up till December 20
  • They are required to carry a photo identity proof along with their admit cards to the test centre on the day of the examination
  • Any of these photo identity cards will be acceptable- passport, driving license, college or institute identity card, voter ID, pan card or adhaar card

JEE Advanced 2015: Results declared at www.jeeadv.iitb.ac.in

The results for  JEE Advanced 2015 were declared at 10 am, today. The candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their marks and rank at the official website.
The results summary was released online by the authorities last evening. As per the statistics,  total of 1,24,741 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 1,27,238 appeared for the exam. And only 26,456 candidates have managed to qualify JEE Advanced.
Boys have outshined girls in the exam, with 23,407 of the qualified candidates being male and just 3,049 female candidates .
The first rank has been bagged by Satvat Jagwani of Satna, Madhya Pradesh, who scored a 469 on 504. Janak Agarwal came second, and Mukesh Pareekh came third.
Other statistics for the exam are listed below:

  • IIT-Bombay: 6,838

  • IIT Kanpur: 3,085

Category-wise toppers:
  • Topper (OBC-PwD): Chinamaya Kumar Sahoo (Pune)
  • Topper (SC): Turaka Bhavan
  • Topper (ST): Harsh Meena
This year, the cut-off was 105 for General category, much lower than last year's 115 mark. OBC it was 70, for SC it was 50 and ST it was 44.
The IITs and ISM combined offer 10,006 seats. And the process of seat allotment is scheduled to begin on June 25, it will be conducted online through a common web portal. In order to get admission the candidates should be either be within the category-wise top 20 candidates in Class 12 Board examination or should have scored 75 percent (General Candidate) and 70 percent (SC/ST).

JEE Advanced 2015: Results to be declared at www.jeeadv.iitb.ac.in tomorrow at 10 am

The results for JEE Advanced will be released at 10 am, tomorrow. The candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their marks and rank at the official website.
The revised answer keys and the marks for answers were released on June 13. These answer keys were published after making the required changes, on the basis of the feedback given by the candidates regarding any discrepancies in the answer keys, which were released on June 8.
The Optical Response Sheet (ORS) and scanned images, cut-off marks and rank list for preparatory courses have already been published online.
This year, the pattern for JEE was changed unexpectedly, and students complained about the excessive negative marking. Although both the papers were supposed to carry 180 marks, the pattern was altered without any  notice. Paper I consisted of 262 questions and Paper II carried 240 questions. Also, the candidates found most of the questions under the Mathematics and Physics sections time consuming. The new negative marking scheme, under which two negative marks will be awarded for wrong answers, was another shock to the students who took the exam last month.

JEE Advanced 2015: Architecture Aptitude Test to be conducted on June 21

The JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2015 is scheduled to be conducted on June 21. The exam will be held from 9 am to 12 pm. The students will be able to register starting at 10 am on June 18, and they will be allowed to submit their registration up till 5 pm on June 19.
The candidates will have to carry their JEE Advanced admit cards to the exam centres, no fresh admit cards will be issued. They should also carry their own drawing and colouring kits for the test.
Only those candidates who are looking to join the B.Arch program at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee and same the same as one of the choices while filling-in their choices online are eligible to appear for AAT.
The cut-off marks will be set by the Joint Implementation Committee (JIC) of JEE Advanced. There will be no separate ranking or separate cut-off for students belonging to different categories. The results for the examination will be declared on June 25.

JEE Advanced 2015: Students' marks for answers released

The authorities released the marks for answers for JEE Advanced on June 13. The students can access the same at the official website.
The candidates who appeared for both the papers can check the marks awarded to them for each question in Paper I and Paper II. They can do so by logging into the candidate portal.
Few candidates who took the exam and were able to view their ORS responses but are unable to access their marks are required to contact their respective zonal IIT JEE (Advanced) office. They will have to produce proof of the payment of their registration fee while contacting the office.

CBSE NET 2015: Admit cards available at www.cbsenet.nic.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) on June 28. The students appearing for the exam can now collect their admit cards on the official website of CBSE NET.
In order to confirm their test centres, the candidates will be required to download their admit cards. The procedure is as follows:
  • Log on to the official website
  • Click on the link that says 'Login for admit card'
  • Fill in the required data (Application number, password)
  • Press on 'Submit'
The admit cards will appear on screen in a PDF format. The candidates must take multiple-print outs of the same.
The candidates will not be permitted in the examination centres without showing the admit cards to their invigilators. The exam involves three papers, all of which are conducted on the same day.
The students will be marked on the basis of their performance in three sections, all of which will be conducted for an hour and forty five minutes.
Candidates who would qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) would be eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and would also be eligible for Assistant Professor.

JEE Advanced revised answer keys to be released today at 12 pm

The authorities conducting the JEE Advanced are scheduled to release the revised answer keys at 12 pm, today. These answer keys will be displayed after making the required changes, based on the feedback submitted by the candidates regarding any discrepancies in the answer keys published earlier this week.
 The answer keys for both, Paper 1 and Paper 2 were published at the official website of JEE Advanced on June 8.
The students were permitted to give their feedback starting at 12 pm on June 8 up till 5 pm on June 11. They were allowed to submit the feedback only through fax, and any communication via e-mail or telephone was not available. The fax numbers for all zonal institutes were mentioned along with the answer keys.

BITSAT 2015: Last date to download admit cards today


he admit cards for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2015 had been released online on April 15. The last day for downloading admit cards and other instructions is April 30.The applicants can download their admit cards from the official website www.bitsadmission.com
The candidates who have completed the application process and submitted the fee are eligible to book their date and slot for taking BITSAT 2015 on the site. The list of allotted centres has also been published online.
