Rajasthan engineering colleges to conduct direct admissions, no RPET from this year

The Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) will be discontinued from the 2015 academic session. Instead, the state government has decided to set up a Centralised Admission Committee (CAC), which will supervise the admissions to engineering colleges this year.
This committee includes experts from the field of technical education, who will be able to guide through the new admission process. This year 70 percent of the seats are reserved for students from Rajasthan, 15 percent seats have been allotted for management quota, and the remaining 15 percent will be filled by students from all over India.

RPET Results 2014 declared: Last date to apply for re-totaling is June 11

The Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) results for the session 2014 have been declared online. The candidates can check the scores on the official website. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in RPET-2014.

The RPET answer keys have also been published on the official website and the candidates who wish to apply for the re-totaling/ re-evaluation are required to make the request on a plain paper providing details such as roll number, name, centre etc. and send it to the 'coordinator' of RPET within seven days from the display of answer keys i.e. by June 11.
