MAT September 2015: Results declared


MAT September 2015 result declared

The All India Management Association (AIMS) has declared the results for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015. The candidates who had appeared for the exam can now check their result at the official website of MAT, www.aima.in.
The candidates can check their result by following the steps mentioned below:
  • Go to www.aima.in
  • Click on 'Testing'
  • Go to 'MAT'
  • Click on 'MAT RESULT SEP 2015'
  • Enter your roll number
  • Enter your form number
  • Select the month of test (September)
  • Click on 'Submit'
The result will be displayed on the screen. The candidates may download their result and take a printout of the same for future reference.
The candidates also have the option to get their results through AIMA's SMS service. They can do so by messaging 'MATS FORMNO DOB(ddmmyy)' to 54242. This service is applicable on all phone operators.
The exam was conducted in two parts, in the pen and paper based format and in the online format. The pen and paper based test was held on September 6 and the online based examination was held on September 12.

CAT 2015: Registrations to begin tomorrow

The registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015 is scheduled to begin tomorrow, i.e. August 6. The aspirants will be able to submit their applications online at the official site of CAT 2015, www.iimcat.ac.in.
The official notification for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015 was released on July 26. CAT 2015 is scheduled to be conducted on November 29; it is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM- A).
The aspirants can register for the exam and complete the application process between August 6 and September 20. They will have the option to select up to four choices as their examination city. The institute will try to assign the first city of choice to all candidates, however, if that is not possible, then the candidates will be assigned a city as per their mentioned order of preference. The payment of fee is to be done through online mode only, i.e. through credit card, debit card or net banking. No other mode of payment is applicable.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade MBA admissions: Registration process

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is now conducting admissions to its MBA programme for the session of 2015. The course is being offered for International Business. The course for 2016-18 is being conducted at Delhi and Kolkata. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the prescribed format.
The registration process for the competitive exam has been detailed below:
Online registration:
  • The interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website of IIFT, www.iift.edu
  • Click on 'Apply now'
  • Fill all the required details in the form and submit it
  • On successful submission of the application form an application number will be generated and sent to the candidate's e-mail ID
  • Login at the official website using this application number and complete the registration process
  • The completion of the registration process will be intimated to the candidates through e-mail

ATMA July 2015 Results: Announced

The result for AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) July session has been announced on the official website. The results can be checked at: http://www.atmaaims.com/login.aspx
In order to check the results, the candidates should follow the steps listed below:
  • Go to the official website;
  • Click on the link 'ATMA 26th July 2015 Exam: Candidates can print RESULT using their PID and Password';
  • Then, the candidates should select their exam month;
  • Insert the PID and password;
  • Thereafter, the candidates should login. The results will be available on the official website. The candidates can print the result for future references.
In case, the candidates have forgotten their password or PID, the candidates should:
  • Click on the tab 'Forgot password';
  • Select exam date;
  • Choose PID/Password;
  • Insert the date of birth;
  • Insert the10-digit registered mobile number;
  • Insert the registered email ID;
  • Then click on find PID or password. The desired code will be made available on the monitor screens.

ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test 2015: Important information


IBSAT 2015

ICFAI is set to conduct its ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2015 over a span pf two weeks, from December 15 to December 30. The aspirants have been provided a sufficient time duration for submitting their applications, they can do so starting from August 5 up till December 5.
IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT).The competitive exam will be for a duration of two hours and will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The students will be tested on their skills in these disciplines- Analytical Reasoning (AR), Data Sufficiency (DS) and Data Interpretation (DI), Quantitative Ability (QA), Reading Comprehension (RC) and Verbal Ability (VA).
The candidates have to apply with their Common Admission Test (CAT), Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or NMAT by GMAC scores by December 31. If the scores for these tests are declared in January 2016, the candidates are still required to submit their scores by December 31, they will be given the option to update their scores by January 31, 2016.
This year, the IBSAT will offer admissions to the following courses:
  • Two-year MBA programme at IBS Hyderabad
  • Four-year full-time Ph.D programme at IBS Hyderabad
  • Four-year part-time Ph.D programme at IBS Hyderabad
  • Two-year PGPM at six IBS campuses, namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune
  • Two-year MBA programme at IBS Dehradun and IBS Jaipur

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2015: Admit card details

Symbiosis International University recently announced the schedule for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2015. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 20. The competitive exam is conducted for admissions to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at various Symbiosis International University institutes. The entrance exam is being conducted for the academic session of 2015.
The details regarding the admit cards for the exam are mentioned below:
  • The admit cards will be released online on December 5
  • The candidates will have the option to download and print their admit cards up till December 20
  • They are required to carry a photo identity proof along with their admit cards to the test centre on the day of the examination
  • Any of these photo identity cards will be acceptable- passport, driving license, college or institute identity card, voter ID, pan card or adhaar card

Symbiosis International University has notified the dates for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2015. The exam will be conducted on December 20. It is held for admissions to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at various Symbiosis International University institutes.
SNAP test will be conducted in 30 cities across the country. The examination centres for the upcoming exam are Agra, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kolhapur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Noida, Patna, Pune, Surat, Vashi and Visakhapatnam.
The candidates are allowed to choose one test centre. However, if the city mentioned by any candidate is not available for any reason, the Symbiosis Test Secretariat can change or allot another city to such candidate.
Eligibility criteria:
The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any disciple, from a recognised university or institute. They should have a minimum score of 50 percent marks (45 percent for candidates under the SC and ST categories) in their qualifying examination.
Age limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age.

Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test: Exam schedule

The Karnataka Exams Authority (KEA) has announced the date for the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2015. The exam is scheduled to be held on August 8 and 9.
KEA conducts PGCET for admissions to Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Engineering (M.E.), Master of Computer Application (MCA), lateral entry to MCA, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Architecture (M.Arch.). The entrance exam is being conducted for admissions to the upcoming academic session of 2015.
Eligibility criteria:
MCA: The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any of these disciplines- Mathematics, statistics, Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Programming, Business Mathematics or Business Statistics. They should have a score of minimum 50 percent in their qualifying examination.
M.E., M.Tech and M.Arch: The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in their respective field form a recognised university or institute. They should have a score of minimum 50 percent in their qualifying examination.
Application procedure: The candidates are required to apply online at the official website, www.kea.kar.nic.in.
Application fee: The candidates under the General and OBC categories have to pay a fee of Rs 650, and those under the SC and ST categories have to pay Rs 500.
Important dates:
  • The last date for submitting online applications is July 23
  • The last date for fee payment is July 25
  • The PGCET for M.E., M.Tech and M.Arch will be held on August 8
  • The PGCET for MCA will be held on August 9

CAT 2014 last minutes tips and tricks to crack the exam

With CAT 2014 exam  around the corner, all the examination aspirants might be busy revising those several books and practice papers. At this juncture aspirants should solve many mock test papers to be sure with question pattern.
CAT, which stands for the Common Admission Test, is an aptitude test for shortlisting prospective management students for admissions to any of the IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) and is one of the most popular entrance examinations for any graduate institute.
This year CAT paper has undergone various changes.To make the preparation convenient for the CAT 2014 aspirants, we have tried to highlight few last days preparation  tips from best of the instructors.
Questions are framed from five broad areas namely - Verbal ability and reasoning, reading comprehension, quantitative skills, data interpretation and logical reasoning. All the questions would be of multiple-choice type with optional answer choices. The new change is that the test duration would be of 170 minutes this year as compared to last year's 140 minutes. Also, the time duration of the examination has been increased by 30 more minutes. This has also called for an increase in the number of questions that the paper would contain.

IIFT MBA exam applicants can now change their Exam Centres


The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) MBA-IB admission 2015  examination is a paper pencil mode multiple-choice objective-type written test (in English). The examination has questions from the sections of English Comprehension, General Knowledge and Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.
The candidates who have applied for the (IIFT) MBA-IB admission examination are now given the option to change the examination centers that they had chosen previously. 
The examination is to be conducted on November 23, 2014 at 20 centers across India which includes Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. The admit cards for the same have already been dispatched to the respective candidates by post, who had successfully submitted the application forms.
Experts on CAT and IIFT preparation suggests the students to avoid getting tired and avoidable tiresome long journey hours commuting from one city to another before appearing for IIFT entrance test in the morning on November 23, 2014. According to them, the applicants should avail this facility and apply for change in IIFT examination center before November 10, 2014 as permitted by IIFT as this will keep them fresh when they wake up in morning for the examination which is necessary for good concentration during the examination. There is no point of putting in their money, time and energy in commuting when they have this option and can gear up and utilize this time for their IIFT entrance test. This is a good facility that IIFT has provided to the students and there is no point why a candidate should miss it.
In order to change the examination center, the candidates need to follow the instructions given below:
The applicants have to send a written application for this which has to be duly signed.
A demand draft (DD) amounting to Rs 500 needs to be drawn in favour of "Indian Institute of Foreign Trade", payable at New Delhi.
The envelope containing the written letter and DD should be marked clearly on the top "Change of IIFT 2014 Exam Center".
This envelope with application and DD should reach the authority by November 10, 2014.

SNAP 2014 by SIU: Exam centers and important dates

Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune, has notified for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes for the academic session 2015.
Admissions will take place on the basis of Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP 2014) scores, which is likely to be conducted in the third week of December, 2014.
The test is of two-hour duration (from 2 pm to 4 pm) and will be held in 30 cities across India. SNAP Test fee is Rs 1,500.
The test will be conducting in 30 cities all over India this time. Applicants can choose the city of their choice while registering for the test. However, it is not sure that one will get the selected city.

Pondicherry Engineering College opens admissions to its MBA programme

The Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC), Puducherry has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, for the academic session commencing in 2014-15.

Eligibility criteria:
The candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline and secured a minimum 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the same.
Candidates who have appeared for their final semester graduation exams and awaiting results can also apply for the programme.

NMIMS declares admissions to 2 new undergraduate programmes

SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has announced admissions to 3 year degree and 5 year Integrated degree programs B.Sc. (Economics), B.Tech., MBA (Pharma. Tech.), MBA (Tech.), B.Com (Hons.), BBA via NMAT (UG) - entrance test. 
 
 Two new undergraduate programmes are also introduced: B. Sc (Finance) B.Tech (Textile Technology) These programmes will be available at various schools at Mumbai and Shirpur campuses.

Aligarh Muslim University changes MBA AND MBBS programmes entrance exam dates

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has changed the entrance examination dates of MBA and MBBS programme. Earlier MBA was to be conducted on May 11, 2014 and MBBS was to be conducted on June 1, 2014. Now, according to the notice, released by University, the exams will be conducted on different dates.

Eligibility:
  1. Candidate must be a citizen of India
  2. For admissions to MBBS, BDS and Diploma in Nursing courses, candidate must have passed the 12th (HSC) class examination
