AIMA MAT CBT 2015: Important paper details


AIMA MAT CBT

The AIMA (All India Management Association) MAT (Management aptitude test) 2015 conducted the paper based test on September 6 (paper based test) and will now be conducting the computer based test (CBT) tomorrow on September 12. The online registrations for the same closed on August 22.
MAT  is a national level test and is conducted to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes in any B-School - national or international. The candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,200 for the registration process. The payment can be made through credit or debit card, net banking, Demand Draft or in cash at any nodal centre of AIMA.

Paper pattern
The exam will be conducted in two different modes for the students. The first will be a paper based test, while the second mode of entrance is a computer based.

The candidates will be testes on five major sections: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and  Sufficiency, Intelligence  and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. The paper-based test will be conducted across 22 centres across the country, with two set up in Dubai and Singapore, as well. The computer-based test will be held across 12 centres in the country.
About MAT
The Management Aptitude Test is conducted for admissions into business schools for MBA and other management courses. It was introduced in 1988 as a standardised test and was approved as a national level test by the HRD Ministry in 2003.
