The Karunya Entrance Exam (KEE) is a national level entrance exam
which is conducted by Karunya University Coimbatore for providing
admissions to its professional programmes viz, Bachelor of Technology/
Master of Science integrated courses in various disciplines offered by
Karunya University for the 2016 academic session.
The admission for B.Tech courses will be conducted at Karunya University Campus.
The exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 23, 2016.
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
A candidate must have passed 10 plus 2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with 50 percent marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
A pass in 10 plus 2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with 50 percent marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or) a pass in 10 plus 2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with 50 percent marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Zoology / Botany / Computer Science (Provided the candidate has not studied Mathematics in +2 or Equivalent).
Paper pattern
The paper will consist of 100 objective type questions. The duration of the test will be for 2 hours 30 minutes. The questions will be framed in English language only. For every right answer, 1 mark will be given and for every wrong answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.
Important dates
The application forms will be available from December 2015.
The last date to submit the duly filled online application and OMR sheet (for Indian Applicants) is April 2016.
KEE 2016 spot registration will start from April 2016.
The date for the entrance exam is April 23, 2016.
The results will be announced in May 2016.
KEE 2016 counselling will begin from May 2016.
