CBSE CTET 2015: Important instructions for candidates


CBSE CTET 2015

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on September 20. The board has issued certain instructions for the candidates who will appear for the exam, they are required to strictly comply with the  prescribed rules.
The instructions for CTET September 2015 are listed below:
  • The candidates should follow all instructions and maintain discipline in the examination hall
  • They should not indulge in or promote any unfair means/activity during the examination
  • They must carry along their admit card and a photo identity card (driver's license, voter ID, aadhar card, passport, etc.). If a candidate does have both or either of the two documents, he/she will not be allowed to appear for the exam
  • The candidates are not allowed to bring with them any of these items:
  • a. Any stationery items like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, calculator, log table, electronic pen/scanner, cardboard etc.
  • b. Communication devices like mobile phone, bluetooth earphones, microphone, pager, health band etc.
  • c. Watch/wrist watch, camera etc.
  • d. Other items like wallet, goggles and handbags etc.
  • e. Eatable items are not allowed to be taken into the examination rooms
  • f. Any other items which could be used for unfair means and for hiding communication devices like camera, bluetooth devices etc.
  • The candidates are required to cooperate with the staff if there is any need of frisking
  • They must adhere to the timings and scheduled of the examination, as notified by the board
  • They should report at least 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam
  • The candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after the commencement of examination
  • Also, they won't be permitted to leave the exam hall before the conclusion of the exam
  • They should use only a blue pen for attempting CTET
The exam will be conducted in two parts. Paper II will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12 pm and Paper I will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. The exam is conducted for candidates to be eligible for appointment as teachers from Class one to eight.
