The AIMA (All India Management Association) will be conducting the
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for the upcoming session on December 6
(paper based) and December 12 (computer based). The online registrations
for the same will begin in October.
MAT is a national level test and is conducted to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes in any B-School - national or international. The candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,200 for the registration process. The payment can be made through credit or debit card, net banking, demand draft or in cash at any nodal centre of AIMA.
Eligibility criteria
The candidates must have acquired a degree in a related field from a recognised university or institute, in order to be eligible to apply. The students who are in their final year of graduation can also apply.
Paper pattern
The exam will be conducted in two different modes for the students. The first will be a paper based test, while the second mode of entrance is a computer based.
The candidates will be tested on five major sections: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.
The paper-based test will be conducted across 22 centres across the country, with two set ups in Dubai and Singapore, as well. The computer-based test will be held across 12 centres in the country.
