The candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to check their results at the official sites of the board, i.e. www.online.assam.gov.in, www.sebaresults.in and www.sebaresults.net.
The students will be able to check their results by following the steps listed as under:
- Go to any official website of the board
- Click on the link provided for checking HSLC or AHM results
- Enter the your roll number
- Enter the security code
- Click on submit
Once the students who appeared for the exam have checked their result online, they can download and print it for future reference.
This year, the examination was conducted from February 19 to March 12. Approximately four lakh candidates appeared for the exams.
SEBA was established in 1961, with the aim to regulate, supervise and develop the system of secondary education in Assam.
The board has the power to regulate, supervise and control school education in Assam. Its main function is to prepare academic programmes and organise examinations, especially for state level Class 10.
The purpose and duties of SEBA are to recommend the syllabus, propose rules and specify courses of instruction and textbooks, teaching by correspondence courses, recognition of secondary education in schools in Assam.
