The results for the National Eligibility Test (NET), which was held in December 2014 have been declared. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) published the exam results at its official website on June 15.
The candidates who appeared for the competitive exam can check the results by following the steps mentioned below:
- Go to the official site of CBSE (www.cbseresults.nic.in)
- Click on the link 'CBSE UGC NET Examination Dec 2014'
- Enter your roll number
- Enter your date of birth
- Click on 'Submit'
CBSE declared the results on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). If the candidates find any discrepancies or have any grievances with respect to the answer keys or their result, they can submit a written request to the authorities as per the prescribed proforma uploaded. Along with the request, they should also send sufficient proof from standard books and literature to support their case. They have the option to put in a request within one month from the date of declaration of result.
The candidates are required to submit their grievances to the 'Executive Director, CBSE, H-149, Sector - 63, Noida - 201309, District Gautam Budh Nagar (UP)'. They also need to pay a fee of Rs 5,000 through a Demand Draft, drawn in favour of the 'Secretary CBSE' and payable at Delhi/Noida.
NET was conducted on December 28, 2014. This competitive exam is only for Indian nationals and determines their eligibility for teaching posts at higher studies institutes across the country. Last year the exam was held for the posts of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellow.
