The exam dates for Karnataka State Eligibility Test have been announced by the University of Mysore. The KSAT 2015 is scheduled to be held on December 6. This exam is conducted for determining the eligibility for the lecturers/ assistant professors of concerned universities/ colleges/ institutions of the state of Karnataka.
The registration process will be getting closed on August 15.

Paper pattern
The exam will consists of three papers of multiple choice questions (MCQ) type.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions. The first session includes Paper I and II to be completed and paper 3 has to be completed in session two. The first paper will focus on teaching and aptitude, and papers 2 and 3 will focus on subject specialization.
Syllabus
The syllabus for the examination will be the same as in UGC/CSIR-NET.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the University of Mysore website: www.uni-mysore.ac.in
The candidates are required to take a printout of the duly-filled application form and send it along with required documents to the 'Nodal Center' chosen by the candidate.

The last date for submission of online application form is August 14
The last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs 100 is August 25
The last date for submission of hard copy of the application form is September 11
The KSET will be held on December 6
