Most of the seats in the arts stream are still vacant at colleges in
Delhi University. With the ninth cut-off list released on August 1,
students can still apply for the same and for some other programmes for
which the seats are vacant.
Initially, the university had announced that it would not come up with more than seven cut-off lists, according to which the admission process ended on July 27. However, there still are considerable amount of seats left vacant in the majority of colleges and DU has decided to give a chance to those who missed the opportunity.
The registration process for the admissions will now continue till August 12. The colleges have been asked to send the data of vacant seats course-wise, along with the cut-offs.
The cut-off list for all the three streams namely, Science, Commerce and Arts have been published online and the candidates can out the details at the official website, the link for which is www.du.ac.in. In total, 3,20,799 applications have been registered, out of which 2,32,049 are online applications and 88,750 are offline applications.This year, the university has introduced the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) marking scheme.
The admissions will be done through counselling where candidates are required to present their documents including Class 10 and 120 mark sheets, Class 12 original certificate, character certificate, photographs before the college committee. The counselling procedure may be carried in 3 or more phases as per the counselling requirements.

The admission process will commence from August 6 to August 8.
The eleventh cut-off list will be released on August 10.
