Jamia Millia Islamia invites applications for Ph.D programmes

Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi has notified that it is now accepting applications to Ph.D programmes for the 2015-16 session. The admissions are being conducted for  the  Faculty of Humanities and Languages, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the given format.
Eligibility criteria: 
The candidates should have a Master's degree, and must have passed with a minimum Second Class. Also, they should have a score of at least 55 percent in the subject they wish to pursue at Ph.D level
Selection procedure: The applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam and the interview round.

Application procedure: The application form is available at the official site of the university. The applicants are required to duly fill and submit the form through online mode only, no other mode of application will be accepted.
Application fee: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 1,500. The payment should be made through online mode at the official website.
Important dates: The candidates can submit their application between July 2 to 23.
List of candidates selected for the written test will be published on July 29.
The entrance exam will be conducted on August 8.
List of candidates shortlisted for the interview round will be published on August 21.
