HYDERABAD:
Admissions in the University of Hyderabad (UoH) will be conducted
online from the next academic year, Appa Rao Podile, the new vice
chancellor (VC), announced on Tuesday.
At present, only the finance department of the varsity is partially functioning on e-governance. However, from next academic year, not only admissions but services such as certificate verification, filling of examination forms etc. would go online, said the VC. "The funds given by the University Grants Commission will be utilised for making all the processes online," said Rao.
