Newly added engineering courses in engineering stream

Engineering is one of the most preferred courses of Indian students, which is why lots of colleges, institutes and universities have started offering various courses in engineering stream. Earlier, it was considered to be a rich man's course, due to the high fees structure; and so, people who had deep pockets only could enroll themselves for the engineering programme.
But time has changed everything now as the government of India has started various education loan schemes and these schemes are equally well backed-up by various scholarships programmes, run by both private and government colleges, institutions and universities. Engineering is no longer a rich man's game now. Middle class people can also afford this programme now. Apart from this, new unique streams have come up in engineering. Earlier, engineering had only 4 to 5 branches, but now, the scene is different and every year one or the other branch is introduced in this segment. This gives the students varieties of options like Silk Technology, Biomedical engineering, Agriculture engineering etc.

Important Tips to Crack EAMCET 2014

  1. The entrance test is of 3 hour duration and the question paper consists of 160 questions comprising of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry
  2.  The Mathematics section covers 50% of the question paper. Hence, the students have to give priority to Mathematics. For scoring good ranks, students have to earn good marks in Physics, Chemistry subjects also.
  3.  Students appearing for JEE Main 2014 would already be almost prepared for EAMCET, as both exams have similar syllabi.
  4.   The advantage of EAMCET is that there is no criteria to score any minimum marks in any of the subjects. Hence the students have to work hard in the subjects they are good at and concentrate on scoring more in them, so that their overall score becomes high.
