SNAP 2014 by SIU: Exam centers and important dates

Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune, has notified for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes for the academic session 2015.
Admissions will take place on the basis of Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP 2014) scores, which is likely to be conducted in the third week of December, 2014.
The test is of two-hour duration (from 2 pm to 4 pm) and will be held in 30 cities across India. SNAP Test fee is Rs 1,500.
The test will be conducting in 30 cities all over India this time. Applicants can choose the city of their choice while registering for the test. However, it is not sure that one will get the selected city.

CTET September 2014: Details about the paper

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the September 2014 session.
The candidates who wish to be a teacher for classes I to V will have to appear for Paper I from 2pm to 4:30pm and Paper II will be conducted for candidates who wish to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII from 9:30 pm to 12 noon.
CTET paper will be having multiple choice questions, wherein each question will carry four options, out of which one is to be chosen. For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded to the candidates. No negative marking is applicable, though.

Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 MCQs
Language I: 30 MCQs
Language II: 30 MCQs

Junior Research Fellow required at Pondicherry Engineering College

Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC), Puducherry has invited applications for Junior Research Fellowship for candidates to work as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Science and Technology IDP-MED sponsored project "Feasibility study for development of an instrument for noninvasive prognosis of dengue" for the session 2014.
The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of two years. The position is coterminous with the project. Candidate selected for this position can apply for the regular PhD programme in Pondicherry University provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for PhD programme in ECE department of PEC.

Sambalpur University notifies for Ph.D admissions

Sambalpur University, Sambalpur has invited applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme in Management for the session 2015.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate who has obtained Master's degree in any discipline of this university or any other university or such degree as may be considered equivalent for this purpose by this university with at least 55 per cent(or equivalent grade) shall be eligible to apply.
How to Apply: Candidates can apply online. Candidates should download the challan form and deposit of Rs 1500 in any branch of SBI towards processing and entrance fee.

Tips, Tricks and important details regarding AIMA MAT September 2014

With the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) examinations just around the corner, it's time to brush up your knowledge regarding its syllabus, examination pattern and last minute tips and tricks. AIPGMEE 2015 registrations to start August 29

National Board of Examinations (NBE) has notified the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) 2015.
The AIPGMEE is an all-India eligibility-cum-ranking medical entrance examination conducted by NBE. It is held as a single entrance examination for admission into all India 50 per cent quota in Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery/Post Graduate (MD/MS/PG) in medical programs offered by government-run medical colleges as well as institutes in all states, excluding Jammu and Kashmir and Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The state governments of Karnataka, Rajasthan, Goa, Sikkim, Punjab, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh this year onwards will use AIPGMEE 2015 scores to grant admission to MD/MS/PG diploma programmes in colleges which operate under them.
