CBSE 12th Results 2014: Top 10 rank holders across India

CBSE 12th results 2014 were declared in three rounds; first CBSE Class 12 results were declared for Chennai and Trivandrum regions on May 26, 2014 then the Ajmer, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna, Allahabad and Guwahati region results were declared on May 28, 2014 and finally the results of the remaining two regions of Delhi & Dehradun were declared on May 29, 2014. Now that Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the results of Class 12th exams 2014 for all regions, a comprehensive list of merit holders has been declared although the marks secured by the rank holders have not beeen released.

NSIT invites applications for M.Tech programme 2014

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) has invited applications for admission to its M.Tech programme for the academic session 2014-2015. Aspiring candidates need to register for the written entrance exam on the official website of the institute.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication/Computer/Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the University of Delhi or equivalent from recognised university/institutions.

CBSE 12th Results 2014: Around 12,614 Subject wise merit certificates to be awarded

CBSE 12th results 2014 have been declared for all regions as have a list of  highest marks secured in each subject. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) offered a total of 68 subjects at Class 12 level for the examinations conducted in 2014. Each candidate securing the cut off marks of a particular subject will receive a Merit certificate for that particular subject.

AIIMS MBBS Exam 2014: Tips to crack the exam

All India Institute of Medical Sciences  MBBS entrance test holds the key to the college where all aspiring doctors dream of launching their career.
Pattern of the entrance exam:
The exam question paper comprises of objective- type questions with multiple- choice answers.
Duration of Exam: Three hours and thirty minutes

ComedK notifies for B.Arch admissions 2014

ComedK, also known as the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, Bangalore, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course in its colleges.

Eligibility criteria: 

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with mathematics as one of the subjects and scored 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ST/OBC) marks.
Candidates must have passed 10+3 diploma recognised by Central / state government and having obtained 50 per cent marks in aggregate for General Merit Candidates and 45 per cent marks in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka.
A minimum score of 80 out of 200 for all categories of candidates in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture.
There is no relaxation in the minimum passing score of NATA to any category of candidates.

CBSE XII Results 2014 declared: Marks and Grades available

CBSE XII results for six regions namely, Ajmer, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna, Allahabad, Guwahati, Chennai & Trivandrum regions have been declared online. The candidates can check the results through various modes.
The candidates can view the CBSE XII  results even throughwebsite,  SMS & IVRS system  too.
On inserting the roll number and date of birth, the candidates will receive a 6 column sheet consisting of various slots.  The Roll number, Name of the candidate, Mother's Name and Father's Name is available on top left.
A six column table having subject code, subject name, marks obtained in the theory paper, marks obtained in the practical paper, total marks and grades for each subject are available and can be checked.

For candidates who get compartment, there will be three additional chances available. But those, who have applied in 2012 or before can appear for five times. 
The results for the CBSE 12 result for Delhi and Dehradun regions are to be declared tomorrow i.e. on May 29.

Resonance: This year the paper – I of JEE Advanced 2014 consisted of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with more than one correct choice and Single Integer Questions. Both these varieties are of difficult standard for students. There was no negative marking in paper-I. Paper –II consisted of Single Choice Questions (SCQ), comprehension based questions and match the column type of Questions, which are relatively easy for students. In paper-II, there was negative marking in each question. Overall variety of questions was same as last year’s JEE Advanced paper.

IIT Bhubaneshwar to introduce B.Tech in Metallurgy from 2014

IIT Bhubaneswar (IITBBS) will introduce a new course in its UG curriculum. The institute will launch BTech (metallurgy) from the coming academic year, admission for which will be conducted on the basis of the JEE (advanced) which was held on Sunday.

There will be a total of 20 seats for BTech (metallurgy) this year reported a newspaper daily.
The institute has been offering BTech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Computer Science. Each of these branches has 40 seats. However, the new course will have 20 seats initially before the IIT expands it to 40 seats in the future, IIT sources said.

For the new metallurgy course, the institute already has required infrastructure and faculty members since it has been offering MTech in the same branch already. IITBBS, at present, has 98 faculty members.
The institute admits students into B. Tech, M. Tech and Ph.D. programs. The classes are held in Bhubaneswar city. The academic session begins in July each year.

JEE Advanced conducted on Sunday, May 25 by IIT Kharagpur  was the gateway for admissions to IITs. The results are expected by the first week of June.

IIIT Bhubaneswar opens admissions to its B.Tech programme 2014

The International Institute of Information and Technology (IIIT), Bhubaneswar has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course, commencing in 2014.
Eligibility criteria:
The candidate should have passed his or her class 12th in science stream with at least 60 per cent aggregate marks (45 per cent or more marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry together).
Candidates will be able to take admission to Lateral Entry B.Tech programme as per OJEE 2014. The candidate should also have secured at least 70 per cent or 7.56 CGPA and 75 per cent in Diploma.

JEE Advanced 2014: Last minute tips to score better

JEE Advanced 2014 is all set to be conducted to be on May 25, 2014. The exam is expected to be taken by students who secured a rank in the top 1,50,000 in JEE Main this year. However, according to reports, 2600 aspirants who cleared the exam choose not to register for the exam. 

The exam will be held in two phases - Paper-1 which will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper-2 which is scheduled to be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. The results of the exam are expected to be out on June 19, 2014.

CBSE Results 2014 for Class 10 : Region wise performance

CBSE 10th results 2014 are out and are available at the official websites after a month long wait.
Around 13.28 lakh students who have appeared for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE ) Class 10 examinations 2014 students can view their results.
Thiruvananthapuram received a cent (100) percent pass percentage from girl candidates and fared the best among the ten regions CBSE is divided in. The total pass percentage of this newly formed region is 99.96.
Chennai stands in the second position with a pass percentage of 99.68 but dropped few notched from 99.80 recorded last year. Te results for both the Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram region was declared a day early i.e May 19 in late evening.
Other regions in the order of their rank and pass percentages are:
Patna                 99.51
Panchkula         99.43
Ajmer                99.40

CBSE 10th Results 2014: Results can be verified till June 11

CBSE Class 10th results for 2014 have been Declared online. The candidates can check their scores on the official website.
According to a notification on the official website, the candidates can get their results verified. The candidates are required to apply for verification of marks in such a manner that their applications reach the respective regional office(s) within 21 days of the declaration of result i.e. by June 11.
The application forms can be downloaded from the official website or can be collected from the concerned regional offices.
The candidates from Delhi region are required to submit the application forms at the National Victor Public School, Institutional Area, IP Extn, Patparganj, Delhi-110092 during the working hours of the school. The candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 200 per subject in the form of cash, along with the application form. In case of urgency, the candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 300 per subject.

JEE Advanced 2014: Exam centers with centre code

The JEE Advanced 2014 examination is coming up on May 25, 2014. Do you know where to go on the day of the exam? It's important to know the examination center and if possible, visit the exam center as well before the exam so that you save precious time on the date of the exam. All the exam centers have been allotted a Zonal Indian Institute of Technology where they can clarify any doubts.

A print out (hard copy) of the Online Admit Card is to be brought to the exam centre on the date of the examination i.e. May 25, 2014 without which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
