NTSE 2020 application form released

The registration process for NTSE 2020 has begun for many states on the official website, the link for which is ncert.nic.in. Candidates can fill the application form offline directly after downloading it from the official website. Apart from this, candidates can also access their application form from the office of Liaison Officer. Stage 1 exam will be held on November 2, 3 and 17, 2019, whereas the Stage 2 exam will be conducted on May 10

NEET mop-up counseling result 2019: The Medical Council Committee (MCC) has

 declared the result for the mop-up round for admission to UG courses in medical

 institutes across India. Candidates who took part in the mop-up round of counseling can check their result on the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in

AIIMS reschedules MBBS counselling dates

The premier All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has rescheduled the counselling for MBBS from August 20-21 to August 26-27.

The window for the online registration for the same will open on August 18 and will close on August 21 at 5 pm.


"Considering the large number of candidates and guardians participating in the open round of counselling (AIIMS-MBBS-2019), under the prevailing circumstances, it has been decided by the competent authority that for adequate arrangements and ensuring safety, the open round of counselling has been rescheduled from August 20 and 21 to August 26 and 27," read a notice from AIIMS.

NEET Counselling 2019: MCC to start mop-up round Soon

MCC will begin the Mop-Up round counselling on August 13, 2019.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the Mop-Up round counselling on August 13, 2019. The Mop-up round counselling is held for admission on seats which have remained vacant after the two rounds of NEET All-India Quota counselling and State Quota counselling. The online registration for the All-India seats will be conducted from August 13 to 15, 2019. The payment facility will be available till 2:00 pm on August 16.

MCC mop-up counselling 2019: Details of the process
 
Students will be allowed to exercise and lock choices till 10:00 am on August 16, 2019. The processing of seat allotment will be done from August 17 to August 18, in which time MCC will also release mock allotment list.
The allotment result for the mop-up round of counselling will be released on August 19, 2019. Students who are allotted a seat in the mop-up round will have to report to the allotted institute between August 20 and August 26, 2019.
Seats that remain vacant even after the mop-up round will be sent back to Deemed/Central University on August 26, 2019.
The counselling for seats that are turned over to Central or Deemed Universities will be conducted by the respective Universities and interested student will have to refer to the concerned University's website for counselling details.

CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2020: Two separate examinations for mathematics, check details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared to conduct two separate examinations for mathematics in Class 10 Board Examinations 2020.

Details about separate examinations:
  • The first paper will be basic mathematics, while the second will be standard mathematics.
  • CBSE will provide the option of choosing mathematics in the registration form for class 10 CBSE Board Examination 2020. Candidates will be required to select their choice of test while filling the registration form.

Important points to remember:

 who choose basic mathematics will not be able to take up mathematics in class 11.
They must keep in mind that they can only appear for the paper they have opted for while registering for CBSE Class 10 board examination which will be held in 2020.

If a student scores well in basic mathematics examination and chooses to pursue mathematics in class 11, he or she will have to appear for class 10 compartmental examinations to be held in 2020.
