407 Students of Resonance Awarded KVPY Fellowship Award

Our special journey which started 15 years back has achieved a new milestone in 2016. In the recently declared result of KVPY 2015 (Stage II), 407 students are selected out of the 200 students selected from classroom and 207 students from (DLPD+ELPD). Below is the comparison of KVPY selections from Resonance of last years.
Now, as compared to last year there is an increase of 26% in selection in overall result with 43% increase in classroom selection from last year which is a big achievement for the institute.

80% of students of Resonance selected in  Stage – I are awarded with the prestigious KVPY scholarships.
The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Bengaluru, Government of India whose objective is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research.
The first stage consists of written test followed by interview stage having weightage of 25% and 75% respectively.
Scholarship ranging from Rs.5000 to 7000 are provided to selected students till pre PhD level.
Key highlights of the result is as follows:
  1. 150 students are selected in SA Stream( classroom:77, DLPD+ELPD: 73)
  2. 256 students are selected in SX Stream( classroom:123, DLPD+ELPD: 133)
  3. 1 student is selected in SB Stream
Moreover, Resonance has produced 3 state toppers with Yash Jain AIR -8, (Raj. State Topper), Ninad Huilgol AIR- 17, (Karnataka state topper) and Anubhav Satpathy AIR-29 (Odisha state Topper) in SA Stream and all three students are classroom students.
Also Kalpit Veerwal student of resonance Udaipur secured AIR -1 in (ST/SC) Category in SA Stream

Following is the provisional list of candidates in the order of merit, recommended for the Award of KVPY Fellowship-2015. The merit list is based on the marks obtained by a Candidate: 75 % of the marks in the Aptitude Test + 25 % of the marks in the Interview.

M.Sc./M.S. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Neurosciences, Bioinformatics, Marine Biology, Geology, Human Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Materials Science or Environmental Science.
In case of SX fellows the fellowship will be effective from 1st August 2016 provided they pursue an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences, that are, B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. JEE Main 2016 Admit Card

JEE Main 2016 Admit Card is available from March 10, 2016. The JEE Main Admit Card 2016 can only be downloaded online by entering Application Number and password chosen by candidates at the time of filling JEE Main 2016 Application Form. Prior to downloading the admit card, candidates are required to provide their roll number and board details of class 12th/equivalent qualifying examination. Previous years’ pass out candidates should also verify the same details.

Candidates are advised to check JEE Main 2016 Admit Card carefully for their Name, Paper, Date of Birth, Gender, Test Center, City, State Code of Eligibility and Category. In case of any discrepancy, they shall communicate to JEE Main Secretariat immediately for necessary action.
How to download JEE Main Admit Card 2016
  • Candidates, who have registered to appear for JEE Main 2016, will be eligible to download the admit card/hall ticket.
  • They must log in by entering their application number and password for downloading the hall ticket.
  • Before clicking on the download option, candidates shall verify all the details mentioned on admit card. After verification, they can download and print it.
Note: No candidate will be allowed to appear for the JEE Main 2016 exam without a valid hall ticket.
