
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur has begun the admission
process for its Master of Science (MS) programmes. The institute has
invited applications for the session of 2015, under Chemical
Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental
Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering and Photonics Science
and Engineering. The interested and eligible candidates may apply as
per the prescribed format.
Eligibility criteria:
MS in Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering: The candidates should have any of these degrees- B.Tech, BS (four-year) , M.Sc. or any other equivalent degree. They must have a minimum score of 55 percent marks or 5.5 CPI (on a 10 point scale), and a valid GATE score (sponsored and part-time candidates are not required to have a GATE score).
MS in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering: The candidates should have any of these degrees- B.Tech, BS (four-year) or any other equivalent degree. They must have a minimum score of 55 percent marks or 5.5 CPI (on a 10 point scale), and a valid GATE score (sponsored and part-time candidates are not required to have a GATE score).
