Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scheduled for testing
the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in
engineering and science will be conducted in the months of January and
February, next year. The last date for registrations for GATE 2015 have
been extended to October 14, considering the devastating flood situation
in the areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
Basic features of the exam are mentioned here:
- Examinations
for all the 22 papers will be conducted by an Online Computer Based
Test (CBT). The online examination paper will have some questions, the
numerical answers for the same must be keyed in by the candidate using
the virtual keypad. All the remaining questions would be in multiple
choice question format;
