VIT university, Vellore has announced the date of its VIT engineering entrance test (VITEEE) for 2015. The entrance exam is supposed to be in the first week of April, 2015. A pioneer institute in engineering , VIT aspire to establish a system of quality assurance, which evaluates and monitor the quality of education and training imparted to the students. It has an improved teaching-learning process which has developed the Institute as a center of excellence.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2015 should have secured an aggregate of 60 per cent in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/intermediate).
- The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50 per cent for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
- Candidates who have studied in regular, full time and formal education are alone eligible to apply.
