The Government City College, Hyderabad has started the admission
process for its Master of Science (M.Sc) programme for the session of
2015. The course is available in the disciplines of Mathematics and
Biotechnology. The interested and eligible candidates may apply
according to the prescribed format.
Eligibility criteria:
For M.Sc in Biotechnology: The candidates should have a B.Sc degree in any of these disciplines- Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Biochemistry or equivalent Life science subjects.
For M.Sc in Mathematics: The candidates should have a B.Sc degree in Mathematics or the subject-related combinations.
Application procedure: The interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official site of the institute or obtain the application forms from the college.

Original Transfer certificate from the last studied institution
Copy of the SSC or its equivalent marks memo
Copy of the Intermediate or its equivalent marks memo
Copy of the B.Sc. Consolidated marks memo
Copy of the B.Sc. Provisional /Original Degree certificate
Copy of the B.Sc Study/Bonafide certificate
Caste Certificate issued by Competent authority for BC/SC/ST
Local candidate / residential certificate or copy study certificates from IV to X class
Latest income certificate issued by MRO
Any other certificate for claiming reservation under PHC/NCC/Games & sports/Exservicemen/etc
Persons With Disabilities (PWD) Certificate, if applicable.
D.D. Rs 200, for downloaded applications
Application fee: The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 200. The payment can be made through a Demand Draft drawn in favour the 'Principal, Govt. City College (A)', payable at Hyderabad.
Selection procedure: The applicants can visit the official website of the college for details on the selection procedure. They are not required to have the PGCET qualification.
