The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the rank cards for the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 re-examination. The successful candidates are required to download their rank card letters online, from the official site of AIPMT 2015.
They can do so by following the steps mentioned below:
- Go to www.aipmt.nic.in
- Click on 'Rank Letter'
- Enter your registration number
- Enter your roll number
- Insert your date of birth
- Click on 'Submit'
The websites notifies the candidates to regularly check the CBSE websites, www.cbse.nic.in and www.aipmt.nic.in, as well as Ministry of Health and Family Welfare website, www.mohfw.nic.in till completion of the undergraduate admission process. All details regarding any additional result, counselling schedule, instructions etc. will be displayed on these sites.
AIPMT is conducted every year for admissions into the medical and dental courses across universities in the country. The competitive exam offers 15 percent merit positions in medical and dental colleges all over India. Certain state governments, universities and institutions also participate in this examination, in order to use the AIPMT merit list for admission into the medical and dental colleges against the seats under the respective state's control.
The AIPMT re-exam was conducted on July 25 in 1,065 centres across the country. A total of 6,32,625 candidates appeared for the exam. The results of the competitive exam were declared on August 17, approximately 64,000 candidates cleared the exam, out of which 32,862 were male and 32,073 were female.
