MAT September 2015: Last date to apply tomorrow

The aspirants for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015 can register up till tomorrow, i.e. August 24. The candidates can submit their filled-in online registration forms at the official website of the All India Management Association (AIMA). The exam is set to be conducted in next month. The pen and paper based test will be held on September 6 and the online based examination will be held on September 12.
The Management Aptitude Test is conducted for admissions into business schools for MBA and other management courses. It was introduced in 1988 as a standardised test and was approved as a national level test by the HRD Ministry in 2003.
The details regarding the registration process and the paper pattern are mentioned below:
Eligibility criteria:  The candidates should be graduates in any discipline. They should have obtained the degree from a recognised university or institution.

The students who are currently in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply .
Application procedure: The interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website of AIMA, www.aima.in.
Application fee: The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,200. The payment can be made through credit or debit card, net banking, Demand Draft or in cash at any nodal centre of AIMA.
Paper pattern: The paper pattern for MAT September 2015 is mentioned below:
  • MAT is divided into five sections, carrying 40 questions each. These are:
  • Language Comprehension (duration- 30 minutes)
  • Mathematical Skills (duration- 40 minutes)
  • Data Analysis and Sufficiency (duration- 35 minutes)
  • Intelligence and Critical Reasoning (duration- 30 minutes)
  • Indian and Global Environment (duration- 15 minutes)
  • The examination will be for a duration of 150 minutes, and will carry a total of 200 questions.
