Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2015: Examination schedule


KSET 2015

The University of Mysore has notified the examination schedule for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2015. The competitive exam is scheduled to be held on December 6.
Eligibility criteria: The candidates should have a minimum score of 55 percent marks (50 percent for reserved categories) in their Master's degree. Their qualifying degree should be from a recognised university or institution, and should be in any of these disciplines- Science, Humanities, Languages), Social science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc.
The candidates who have appeared or will be appearing for the Master's degree final examination and those who are still awaiting their result or the candidates whose qualifying examination has been delayed are also eligible to appear for the KSETApplication procedure: The candidates can apply online at the official site, www.kset.uni-mysore.ac.in. They are required to send the hard copy of the duly filled application, along with all necessary documents to the University of Mysore. The enclosing envelope should be titled 'Application for KSET - 2015'.
Important dates:
  • The last date for candidates to submit their online application is August 14
  • The last date for submission of online application along with late fee is August 25
  • The last date for submission of hard copy of the application is September 11
  • The Karnataka State Eligibility Test will be conducted on December 6
The Karnataka State Eligibility Test is conducted for determining the eligibility for recruitment to the posts of Lecturers and Assistant Professors at the universities, colleges and institutions in Kerala. These include all government, private and aided institutions.
