MICAT 2015: Revised exam schedule

Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad has invited application for admissions to its Post Graduate Management Diploma in Communications (PGDM-C). The admission process is being conducted for the session of 2016-18. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the given format.
Initially, the date for the MICA Admission Test (MICAT) 2015 was set as December 20, however, now it has been scheduled a week earlier. The exam will now be conducted on December 13. It is possible that the date was re-scheduled as the competitive exam clashed with the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2015.
Examination schedule:

• The online registration process will begin on September 10
• The last date for submitting applications ids December 4
• The MICA Admission Test will be held on December 13
• The call letters for Group Exercise (GE) and the Personal Interview (PI) will be released on December 30
• The Group Exercise (GE) and the Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted from January 15 to 18
• The final results will be declared on January 31

This year, the institute has made certain changes in the admission process, these are regarding the selection cycle, eligibility criteria, aptitude test format and Group Exercise (GE) and the Personal Interview (PI). There are explained below:

• The selection process for PGDM in Communications 2016-18 will be conducted twice
• The candidates are required to take at least one of these exams: CAT 2015, XAT 2016 or GMAT (2012 onwards)
• The MICA Admission Test (MICAT 2016) will be conducted only through the online mode, it will be a Computer Based Test (CBT)
• The exam will be held in 14 cities across the country
• The first phase of Group Exercise and Personal Interview (GE-PI) will be conducted at Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai and the second phase of GE-PI will be conducted at MICA, Ahmedabad only
