The University of Hyderabad has released an admission notification,
inviting interested and eligible candidates to enroll for its Doctor of
Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in various areas for candidates who
are exempted from written test component for the session October 2015.
Eligibility criteria
The candidates applying for this course should have a master's degree in concerned or related subjects with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent grade. The candidates who are completing their final examinations by June 2015 are also eligible to apply.
For Ph.D. Electronics Science, candidates having GATE are also eligible to apply.
Selection procedure
An interview would be conducted for the candidates for the admission. Awardees of JRF/ NBHM/ ICMR/ ICAR/ DBT / RGNF / MANF /DST INSPIRE are exempted from the written test only. They will have to appear for the interview.
How to apply
Application fee:
The candidates belonging to the general and OBC category have to pay Rs 350 as the application fee and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD (PH) category have to pay Rs 150. Application fee should be in the form of crossed demand draft drawn in favour of the 'Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at State Bank of India, HU Campus Branch (Code:5916)' or at Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch (Hyderabad) (Code: 378).
Candidates are required to download the application form from the official website for the admission to this course and send the same.
